What’s the Root Canal Procedure Like?
Getting a root canal is a relatively straight forward process that typically takes place over the course of two appointments. Dr. Wheeler will begin by administering a local anesthesia into the affected area to completely numb it so you won’t be able to feel any pain. From an access point in the biting surface of your infected tooth, Dr. Wheeler will remove the pulp that’s causing your pain and sanitize the area to make sure there are no lingering bacteria. Our team will then rebuild the structure of your tooth and top it off with a customized dental crown for added protection and strength.
