Dr. Wheeler strongly believes that it takes a lifetime of dedication to do beautiful, high-quality dental work that is both functional and comfortable for patients in need. Dr. Vega earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences at Arizona State University, and while in school, she volunteered at various dental clinics in downtown Phoenix. She also completed a pre-dental internship and worked as a dental assistant before starting dental school. She went on to receive her DMD from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Vega first fell in love with dentistry when she was eight years old going to her sister’s dental appointments. She was immediately fascinated, and her interest continued to grow over the years. Today, she’s so glad that she chose this path and never looked back!
Dr. Vega grew up in Mexico and came to the US when she was 15 years old (so she is bilingual in English and Spanish!). Today, she lives in Avondale with her husband and handsome husky. She is very family oriented and loves to spend time with her siblings and parents on her days off. They like to try new restaurants, go camping, and vacation together. For her, days filled with great food and amazing company are her absolute favorite.
